The Khmer Lesson team are a group of experienced native speaking Khmer language tutors. In 2017 we began working together, to provide Khmer language instruction to anyone and everyone who wants to learn the Khmer language.
The Khmer Lesson team has taught students from a range of professions and organizations, including missionaries, UNDP, UNICEF, ECCC, KOICA, volunteers, NGO employees, embassy staff, employees of the Rosewood Hotel, teachers in international schools, business people and more.
In addition to language instruction, the Khmer Lesson team is proud to explore Khmer culture and tradition with our students. We feel that a holistic approach will provide context and gives students a way to fully immerse themselves in the Khmer language and experience.
With 33 consonants, 24 vowels, and many sounds not typically used in foreign languages, self-learners of Khmer often find correct pronunciation difficult to achieve. The Khmer Lesson team understands this and has developed a unique method of teaching that is both easy and fun. As a result, in a short period of time, students will become able to speak Khmer in a clear and understandable way.
The Khmer Lesson team truly believes that our method of Khmer language instruction is enjoyable and productive. And our experience has shown us that a motivated and patient student, along with an encouraging and experienced teacher will produce excellent results. Our motto is “Patience and Motivation”.
